it seems my nack for 2007 is falling down a lot.
Looks like we have a solid beginning for the next gen of MTB racers out of this area.

Michael said, "I'm not sure if I've ever said I had fun at a race immediately after-wards. It usually takes me a day or two to get over the pain."
Nice to know your human Michael. Thanks for the ride.
It was nice to visit with you guys and we'll see you at a Wednesday night ride in the near future.

I think Andrew was still riding and having fun even after the race.
Most of the time, I really don't feel any older than I did when I was 20 until you see Andrew race sport, win his class, act like he's not even breathing, go help with the junior race and is still riding, smiling and having fun.
Even racing beginner for this event, I was feeling the effects days later.

I did eat a lot after that 12 hour race... I woofed down those chicken breasts like they were M & Ms, lol.
Chicken and good quality beer (PBR) does wonders for the body! It makes me sad to hear you talks talking about youth. You have a wealth of cycling knowledge and a real job to buy cool stuff... Lucky!

Oh, Andrew you are so naive.. Along with the real job comes the pain of responsibility. Always God, Family, House and Farm, work, then somewhere you get to play when free time allows, then having to take care of all the toys you buy. Believe me it's all starting to catch up!! Keeping up with all this is a tuff balance. Words of advice,, stay young, stay in school until they throw you out (real jobs suck), don't marry for as long as you can hold out, and have kids only when you decide that you can teach them enough to try and make this world a better place.
Hope to see you soon! I need to settle my debt to you!! LOL and no your not getting PBR!!
