This is this weekend. To the best of my knowledge the following people will be racing at least on Sunday: M. Watts (possibly his boys as well), D. Hack, T. Nolen, B. Rose, A. McKinney, K. Stanley, K. Capps, and myself. So thats at least 8 racers, and hopefully a corresponding number of podiums. I will be going down on saturday morning to participate in the 2.5mi TT as well, but as far as i know im flying solo on that one. Should be a good time, here is the website where you can find start times for the races and more information... www.woodnwave.com/WL%20'08/White%20Lightning%20Flyer.pdf

On a lighter note, I BROKE my full suspension bike on Friday. I then BROKE my rear wheel during the race and it failed completely after I finished the race.

Dillion had a blast and great job Haily. You've come a long way since Race to the Canal last year! Let's also not forget John Paul Tapp. He came in first in his division. How old is JP?

Let's also not forget Michael Watts, Kenny Capps and Kent Stanley raced. While they may not have made the podium, they raced and raced hard. Michael stopped to help someone on the trail. Kenny and Kent both raced in a tough category that is very competitive. Sport 40-49 and Sport 50+ are both filled with very fast guys and Kent and Kenny both raced well. Great job guys! Kenny still managed to laugh at me while we were on the trail racing and then sat and laughed at me after the race.
