All: It is about time these marginal Look pedals have been recalled. See the full report at: www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml08/08354.html. However, they shouldn't just limit the recall to the KeO models, all of their pedals have the same problem. I snapped a set on the Georgia 600K in 2006 which resulted in a DNF. I snapped another pair at PBP last year, but luckily found a local to drive me back to the control at Tinteniac for a replacement, so I was able to finish. I've since changed to the Shimano Road Pedal and haven't had any problems. I guess the Japanese know how to make steel axles better than the French! Jeff Sammons Tennessee RBA RUSA #2648

Well, Bruce just got some KEO pedals. Let's see how they take the punishment.
I have a set sitting right here and I'll check my dates.
Hey....Never had an issue with the looks with the old delta cleats. They even MADE the first shimano pedals.

I could not get the link to work. I have never had any KEO pedals but I have used look pedals with the delta style cleats for the better part of 8 years with no problems.
