the only problem with the great pumpkin metric is that the 62 is NOT a 62...it is more like a 67. Just a FYI for those riding by Hornville Tavern at mile 61 and expecting to be finished in 3 minutes or so.

66.8 I think, good ride. Last year the last 10 miles hurt me bad. Todd's grandma was calling the shots.

I've got standby again, so I can't get too far out. If the pager is quiet, I'm gonna take my recumbent on the 25K route.
Is it hilly?

Doug, I have never been on this ride before. So I don't know about the hill situation. May see you at the start.

I have done the ride several times but only the metric so I don't really know about the other routes. The metric is not very bad though.

The Great Pumkin Metric is history now. It was a good ride. Brad and myself rode it. Then we met the Gemtron Guys at different rest stops along the way. They seemed to be having a good day too. We saw Barbara at one of the rest stops. She seem to be having a good ride too. Way to go everyone it was nice. However, it chilly ride and down right cold at different part of the ride. I wish that we could have seen Todd's Grandmother sometimes on the ride because she could have let us borrow one of her extra afghans. The Gemtron guys are ready to ride on the Ghouls Ride on Halloween and they are getting folks from Henderson to ride.
