We would like to invite the Pennyrile Area Cyclists to join us for the 2011 Redbud Ride. The Redbud Ride will take place in London, Kentucky on April 16.
Early registration fee is only $30. You can register at www.redbudride.com. The registration fee entitles you to breakfast (pancakes and sausage), lunch on the road, the absolute best rest stops in the cycling world, mechanic and sag support, route maps and turn-by-turn directions, and the official 2011 Redbud Ride t-shirt.
The Redbud Ride will be the most scenic bicycle ride you have ever taken. You will view the best scenery that Kentucky has to offer, including one of the top 10 redbud sight-seeing routes in the state. Our terrific staff and well stocked SAG stops will make this ride worth every penny. The Redbud Ride has four routes (102, 70, 38, and 23 miles) that will be sure to please everyone from the casual beginner to the most hardcore endurance athlete. We had 320 cyclists participate in 2010 and are shooting for 500 in 2011.
To see a video/slide show of the 2011 Redbud Ride go to: www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_FcEYsyGYQ. You can also get regular Redbud Ride updates by becoming a fan of "The Redbud Ride" on Facebook.
Thank You
Rodney Hendrickson
Redbud Ride Team, Chairman
PS: The Redbud Ride has been selected by Active.com as a nominee for the "National Cycling Event of the Year." The award is chosen by cyclists such as yourself. If you would like to vote for the Redbud Ride to receive this award go to www.redbudride.com and click "Vote" in the upper right hand corner. Thanks.
