I am not sure what kind of rims I really want. Something comparable to the Bontrager Race rims. I have a set of Race rims right now and they are full of cracks...
Maybe someone had a set I could look at or let me know where to get a good light durable set.

I am just wanting to get new rims and not so much the entire wheel. I don't want to spend more that 80 bucks a rim

$145 for an entire set of wheels. They are light. Cost less than buying new rims and paying someone to lace them up.
Why not see if Steve will warranty the current wheels through Bontrager?
When my Race Lites failed, I got a new wheel with zero questions asked.
It will be hard to find a replacement rim for the bontrager hubs (DT Swiss) because of the paired spokes and low spoke count.

If you cannot get them replaced under warrenty, you are probably going to have to lace them up to bontrager rims again for the reasons that david already mentioned. Relacing wheels isnt cheap either once you think about it. About 6 dollars a spoke then the labor to get the tension right.
Back to the eastons- forgot to mention they are more aero than the bontragers. They have a rim profile of 30mm. Hubs are also very smooth, i distinctivly recall the front wheel rolling forever.

Alright great!
I appreciate the information and I plan on heading to wood n wave and talking with Steve about the warranty. If i can't get them warrantied I will probably just get those wheels.
thanks
