Is anyone interested in spinning after work sometime during the week. I'm not getting off until 4:30 so the lack of light puts me inside. If we can come up with a place to meet and a best day for interested folks. I'll check with Ed Wallace and see if we can get a room at the YMCA. I'd be willing to bet he require a Y membership for that to happen. We are welcome at my house but living so far north of town most won't want to drive that far,, and my TV is kind of small but works. I did notice Scott Tapp posted a similar topic last yr.

Here’s what I’ve found out so far. There is a spinning class already on Mon and Wed starts at 5:30 for those of you who want to spin at the YMCA after 5:00, this is a good option. We have been offered the boardroom for a self-supporting spinning class on Tues and Thursdays. It has a TV/DVD player we can use and we can pull a couple of spinning bikes over easy enough. But this comes with a clause. We must be out by 5:30 on those nights. We have approximately 5-8 interested in spinning. I’m looking for feedback and suggestions from ALL. Places, times, and workouts are all the things I need feedback on. If we do the Y we will have to start no later than 4:15 and be out 5:15. This is not a good option for those who get off at 5:00 or who need child care. Anyone have a diff place in mind?? We need a TV/DVD/Video to go along with the space. Keep in mind that unfortunately we are not going to be able to bring all if us together but we can support each other even if we have to break off into two groups somehow.
3-4 can do 4:00 5-6 can do 5:00 or slightly later 5 have trainers and I have access to one extra 4 have no trainers
Give me ideas and suggestions soon, I’d like to start something by next wk.
Michael

Michael, I got your voicemail and emails but forgot all about them sorry for not repling. I cant do thursday this week but it is probably the best day for me on other weeks. I have the most flexible schedule without a doubt so anything after 3 pretty much anyday is fine with me. I also have an extra magnetic trainer someone can use.

For other who may be lurking and are intrested... We are spinning at my house at 5. Just come in through the back gate and there is a door that opens up into the porch. it will be unlocked so if you cant get there just at 5 you can drop by a little later. I also have a extra magnetic trainer someone can use.

For those of you who missed it David R and I did a 1hr+ spinning session using the Carmichael heart blaster workout. It was basically a step up step down 1,1,2,2,3,3,2,2,1,1 5 min's rest and recovery. 2 sets was all I could take. Dang,, I hate speed work. It was good to get the ole juices flowing again.
We are going try it again next Thurs with hopefully using a DVD this time.
