I hope you marked your calendars….THE TIME IS HERE!!
It is time to follow through on our commitment to work with Trover Health Systems (THS) on a bicycle rodeo. THS will begin promoting this event this week, so we need some more club members to help out with executing the actual rodeo.
Location: Trover Foundation North parking lot
Date: Sunday, October 26 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm (REGISTRATION STARTS AT 1:30PM) Need volunteers there earlier.
Fee: NO CHARGE
Ages: Grade 1st – 6th
Trover will be giving away 200 bicycle helmets, and PAC will be donating 10 bicycles
This rodeo will teach bicycle safety using practical teaching methods found in the attached. After the rodeo there will be a police controlled / supported one mile fun ride led by Madisonville Mayor Will Cox.
If you are on our email list you have received a list of current volunteers and files attached listing the different stations. Let me know if you can help out. Please do not be overwhelmed by the rodeo. EACH STATION WILL OPERATE SEPARATELY to insure it all fits together, so you will only be responsible for your station and not the ENTIRE RODEO.
We will have a miniature working red light from West Hopkins Elementary, paint line marker from the YMCA, orange cones and stop signs from the City of Madisonville.
If you will definitely be able to make this a success by volunteering, please reply and let us know.
